Aging gracefully is what almost everyone would want and really hope for, because nothing feels better than getting complements about how beautiful and adorable your skin is and how young you look every passing year. Unfortunately, there are so many varying factors that contribute to how someone ages, and most of them play their parts without us having a say. An example is someone who does a job that exposes him/her to more sun than normal, and we know the sun is not especially friendly on the skin.

On the brighter side, though, there are some tweaks in our lifestyles that would make us have the most beautiful skin as we gently ease into the latter stages of our lives. When you eat the right food, live the right lifestyle and do right by your body, your skin is bound to testify. Below are some tips for a smooth, young and beautiful face.

  • Egg Lotion

This is not as gross as it might sound and certainly not for your entire body, just for your face alone. Egg is known to comprise of some anti-aging components like protein, zinc and Omega 3 acid. The egg yolk, in particular, contains an anti-aging property known as the biotin which helps in repairing damaged skin and keeping wrinkles away. To make the perfect egg-lotion you would need egg yolk, lemon juice and Malai (a cooking ingredient used in Indian).Take a teaspoon of each ingredient and mix together to make a white looking paste. Mix properly and apply on the face, wash off after about 10-15 minutes. Continue with this every night before going to bed.

 

  • Coconut Milk

Coconut is known to have antioxidants, and anti-inflammatory properties, and with its special natural oil, it is the best meal you could prepare for your facial skin. It helps get rid of dead skin cells, regenerates and rehydrates the skin as well as helping in the reduction and eradication of wrinkles on the face. Extract the milk, and apply on the face, allow it to sit on the face for about 15 minutes, and then wash off. Repeat daily.

 

  • Mashed Pawpaw

Pawpaw, whether eaten or applied externally on the skin is known to help the skin because it contain antioxidants and also an enzyme known as Papain which helps in skin elasticity and skin cell regeneration. Mash up a small amount of pawpaw, enough to go around the face and apply on the face once every day, preferably in the night before bedtime. Apply and allow for up to 15 minutes before washing off.

With the above tips taking care of your facial skin particularly, you could also carry on doing other things that would contribute to the general wellbeing of your skin as a whole, exercising every now and then, eating food rich in vitamin A, drinking plenty water for rehydration and staying away from the sun, quitting cigarette or any other form of smoke
